Statement of Non-discrimination:

Diversity and Marriage Statement:

Calvary Chapel Christian School believes that an individual's first responsibility is to the God of the Bible and that a person's whole life should reflect His framework in a context of peace and selfless love. CCCS's standard for diversity is found in the Bible. Individual differences in lifestyle that deny, ignore or reject biblical standards represent diversity in rebellion to God's standards and are unacceptable for the families of CCCS. CCCS holds to the King James Version of the Bible and asserts that marriage is the union between one man and one woman, and that from the beginning of creation God made humans in two distinct sexes, male and female.

It is the commitment of CCCS to provide Christian education by and for God's elect, holy and beloved according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth that is after godliness, and in that context for the purpose does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex and ethnic background. This policy is exercised during student admission, hiring of faculty and staff and all school-administered programs.

VISION
BT1_4193-381.jpg

At Calvary Chapel Jr. Sr. High School we believe we are to: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6) We believe that Christian education at the Jr. Sr. high school level should be “fruit producing” (2 Timothy 3:15-17) We believe that more focus should be given on teaching our pre-teens and teens to love the Lord their God with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength. We desire to provide opportunities for the students to grow in these things to promote Christ-like nature. We believe that it is time to begin to develop leaders and servants for Jesus Christ. Our goal is to work with the home to help develop Godly character, and to train our students to be “salt and light” to become leaders in whatever they may choose to do. We also believe that there should be clear and concise spiritual/academic goals for the students through the teacher, classroom, curriculum and school environment. “Study to show thyself approved unto God. A workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15

HISTORY

Welcome to Calvary Chapel Christian School. Founded in 1996 as a preschool with 2 teachers and 4 students, CCCS has experienced steady growth. In 2012 after 16 blessed years, CCCS expanded to offer preschool, elementary and junior and senior high school classes. From a single church classroom, our campus expanded to include two additional school buildings and playground. CCCS is a member in good standing of Calvary Chapel Education Association and the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools. CCCS is registered with the departments of Education, and has its own chapter of National Honor Society.

Calvary Chapel Christian School (CCCS) provides a Christian world view academic education founded upon the Word of God. Our purpose is to assist parents in their God-given responsibility to “…bring their children up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4). CCCS’s goal is to build Godly character in children by educating them in a Christ-centered environment where their love for Christ and others will grow. To do so, we focus not only on academic excellence, but also on providing a loving Christian environment where our children can be nurtured in the ways of the Lord. Our vision is to provide a quality, Christ-centered comprehensive academic program, built upon the foundation of God, His Word and Jesus Christ. We offer a number of co-curricular disciplines including Computer, Music, Instrumental, Gym and Art. The King James Version Bible is used for classroom and memory work. All classes are taught from a Biblical perspective.
