March 24, 2020

Dear Parents,

We hope you are doing well, and your family is healthy and safe. Please feel free to call the school with questions you may have and we are happy to help.

Currently the only staff in the building is administration, school secretaries and janitorial staff. However, we are here daily from 10:00 - 3:00.

We wanted to update you on the recent standing with schools/education and the CoronaVirus. Governor Wolf has extended school closures for an additional two weeks. The new start date (as of today) will be Monday April 13th. We do not know if the closure will be pushed further out, but as we are made aware of changes, we will pass the info along to you.

The question of the day seems to be :) Do I still have to pay tuition when school is shut down?

Short answer  - Yes, please! Our teachers are being paid and still teaching during the shut down. Teachers are teaching from home. Obviously our bills still need to be paid.

However - if you have been laid off/loss of work due to Covid-19 please give us a call, we will help as much as we can.

We will be adjusting what students are doing at home, to include some direct instruction. Doing worktext pages and enrichment is great for a two week closure, but seeing the changes, we are moving forward. Our goal is to keep our students growing and learning so when we return the amount of catch up will be as little as possible.

As more information is made aware to us, we will pass that along to you as well.

Please check your email daily regarding. We will be sending the updated and what changes regarding instruction in the next day or so.

Let me encourage you with a scripture Pastor John shared on Sunday. Pastor taught on Psalm 91 and reminded all of God's promises.

Psalm 91:14-16

1- v. 14 - I will deliver him

2- v. 14 -I will set him on high

3- v. 15 - He shall call upon me, and I will answer him

4- v. 15 - I will be with him in trouble

5- v. 15 - I will deliver him and honor him

6- v. 16 - I will satisfy him with long life and-

7- v. 16- I will shew him My salvation.

Remember to KEEP ALL WORKSHEETS those will be required to be sent in when school resumes.
